Career Planning Tips and Techniques

Imagine the beauty of a spreadsheet that is created in a publishing program that looks appealing to the eye. Right there, you have math incorporated with art! Teaching across the curriculum in schools should and probably will continue. When it comes to career planning, teaching across the curriculum is a great way to help students choose a career they will love and will be able to succeed at. 

Many beauty supply stores often hire beauty consultants, as well as managers, stockers, and cashiers. You may even want to think about selling beauty products for another company, like Avon or Mary Kay, as an independent contractor. As you can see, there are a number of different careers out there for those, like you, who may have a love for fashion and beauty. 

But when you are making a career change or just want a new career, the assessment test we talk about is a little different. These types of assessment tests will ask you questions about certain job situations and you pick the one you are most interested in and the one you are least interested in. After you have answered all of the questions usually between 50 and 100 your answers will be analyzed. 

Some hygienists also assist the dentist in procedures such as placing fillings in teeth, doing root canals, and examinations. If you will be choosing dental hygiene as a career, you should prepare early in high school if possible. You should take several mathematics and science courses to prepare you for the college classes you ll have to take. 

At the career planning center, they will help guide you towards getting the training and experience that you need to get into that particular career. They will likely have classes and seminars you can participate in that will further your experience not only in a particular job field but also to help you with any personal issues like projecting the correct persona when applying for a job. 

Read and look at any fashion Magazine you can get your hand on. There are fantastic books on Fashion and fashion photography available. Amazon.com has a true treasure trove available. You need one or two good cameras, tripod and a lighting system. Always make sure that you have plenty of film and batteries available.
